Mrs. Seroline Odira is a social worker with Good Neighbors Kenya. She has been in charge of implementing sponsorship work in the Dandora Slum project since 2010. She loves working with the disadvantaged community as evidenced by her volunteering for two years prior to her employment. She has worked in Mukuru slum (specifically an area called kwa Njenga in Mukuru) and Korogocho slum amongotherswithinNairobi County,Kenya.Seroline’swork includes interaction with young children, their parents and the community at large through home visits for the children, case studies, letter writing and dispensing monthly cash transfers to the sponsored families. She is married and has four children, two girls and two boys.
