4. Supporting Homeless and Orphaned Children
   The AIDS epidemic has left many children in Nairobi’s slums orphaned and homeless. The Roskern Foundation is committed to giving these vulnerable children hope and stability. Through planned programs such as foster care, kinship support, and transitional homes, we aim to provide a safe haven for 190 children. By partnering with local foster care programs, including those run by churches, we can extend our impact and ensure these children have a chance at a better future.

5. Acquiring Land for Community Development
   To achieve long-term goals, the Roskern Foundation seeks to purchase 1 acre of land near the slums. This location offers access to essential amenities such as running water, electricity, and security, making it ideal for building a multi-story Mission and Community Center alongside a soccer field and courts for basketball and volleyball. This space will become a hub for educational, recreational, and community-building activities.

6. Establishing the Mission and Community Center
   The planned Mission and Community Center in Kiambiu will serve as a transformative space for youth, families, and the community at large. This multi-functional facility will feature a library, classrooms, a multipurpose hall, and recreational spaces while hosting programs like:

   • Adult literacy classes and ICT training to empower individuals with skills for self-sufficiency.
   • Revolving funds to support youth entrepreneurs in trading and business activities, ensuring sustainable economic opportunities.
   • Sports and recreational programs including soccer, volleyball, and table tennis, fostering teamwork and physical well-being.
   • Handcraft workshops, awareness meetings, and free movie screenings, bringing the community together and creating opportunities for growth and connection.

   The Roskern Foundation will collaborate with local organizations and hire passionate, skilled personnel to manage and expand these programs. By prioritizing community involvement and sustainability, we aim to uplift lives while ensuring that every resource creates lasting change.
